It’s not that hard to see who’s blind
Where faith is less than low
Where Satan clouds a person’s mind
Through seed his demons sow
It’s not that hard to see who’s dumb
Who lend The Truth no ear
Who hear of hell of things to come
But show no earthly fear
It’s not too hard to see just why
The world seeks every thrill
To see the reason why they die
Who neighbours seek to kill
It’s not to hard to see them fail
Searching for selfish gain
Who steal who cheat who land in jail
Where chains their lives restrain
But where it’s hard; is deep inside
Between the bone and nerve
To rid oneself of foolish pride
And find the will to serve
It’s hard to watch the world go by
Our wayward self to give
It’s hard to feel self slowly die
Through Christ God’s Son to live
It’s hard a soul for God to win
Cause neighbours and friends to see
To bring the lost and prisoner in
For Christ to set them free
It’s hard to live without The Lord
Watching all others grow
Knowing it’s they who’ll flee The Sword
