The time of Christ has long been planned
Plans no one can delay
Revealed to man in every land
Where be it night or day
It’s here and now we must prepare
Far later then we think
God’s presence will be everywhere
Where failing hearts will sink
Where the fooled still walk in the dark
Blind still totally lost
Hardly a thought of Noah’s ark
What there man’s folly cost!
Though God forewarned of coming wrath
A hundred years and more
Where none escaped the water’s path
When God closed tight the door
Gomorrah too was unprepared
Sodom; with sin galore
God’s wrath again on both was shared
Burning the devil’s harlot
Can no one see the pattern yet?
Does no one understand?
How quick our foolish minds forget
The might of God’s right hand
But why the worry, why the fuss
The foolish still proclaim
While God warns all he rest of us
Of hell’s eternal flame
So seek to join the chosen few
Seek guidance from above
Remember Noah, Sodom too
And Jesus’ selfless love…..
