It is more blessed to give than receive....

We are His flesh and bones and we follow the pattern of Jesus who was laid in a grave of a rich man. His people are in a “grave” that the rich have hewn out for them. Here in Isaiah, the word “death” in Hebrew is PLURAL….. “DEATHS”. Check it out on the internet for yourselves.

Isaiah 53:9 KJV
(9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death(s); because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

It is the rich men…..all of the shepherds of the flock…who are given over to covetousness from the least to the greatest.

James 5:1-9 KJV
(1) Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
(2) Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
(3) Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
(4) Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

It has been a “day of slaughter” as the rich condemn and kill the just and he that does not resist them. They lead them to their destruction with their deceiving words. They are led into the grave even before they get there. Many are dwelling in a “grave” that the rich have hewn out. Many are living in denominations of envying and strife that are motivated by the covetousness hidden in men’s hearts.

(5) Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
(6) Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

We are His body….and the rich have taken Him by “subtilty”….DECEIT….GUILE…and have killed Him. His life within us is supposed to manifest outwardly in our mortal flesh but they destroy the MANY with their deceitful teachings, commandments of men, traditions. They lead us astray and to the death of the mortal body without having His life manifested. The “Son of man” IS betrayed by the sinners who deceive His people away from having love for one another.

Matthew 26:1-5 KJV
(1) And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
(2) Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
(3) Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
(4) And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
(5) But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

They swallow us up as if a grave with their deceit…and so the Son of man has been in the “heart of the earth” for 3 days and 3 nights. His life has not been manifested outwardly because of the deaths of the MANY who are led astray. Only the FEW have entered into THE life through the narrow gate while the MANY have gone down the broad way to destruction from off the earth.

Matthew 12:40 KJV
(40) For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Paul knew that the “grievous wolves” would enter in among us, not sparing the flock. Paul had coveted no man’s silver, gold or apparel and with his own hands had worked….ministered….to his own needs. He is pure from the blood of all men as he has shunned not to declare unto us ALL of the counsel of God.

But the rich have taken His body through deceit for money…. which is blood money. They do not preach ALL of the counsel of God for God is not in all of their thoughts. They do not seek His face and so they see His face no more. His face is hid because of their sins.

Acts 20:25-35 KJV
(25) And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
(26) Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
(27) For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

They are to take heed unto themselves and to all the flock and feed the church of God which He has purchased with His own blood.

(28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
(29) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
(30) Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Paul has NOT CEASED to warn every one night and day with tears for the space of 3 years to WATCH and remember. The number 3 signifies the number of days in which Jesus was in the grave. His people are also in a “grave” because of the covetousness of men who desire to be rich. The “Son of man” is in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights. The love of money drowns people in destruction…perdition. Covetousness is the abomination of desolation…ruin…that we are to flee from.

We are to stay AWAKE and remember the words of the Lord Jesus: IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.

(31) Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

We are to inherit “eternal life” in the here and now. His life is supposed to manifest in our mortal bodies in those who are sanctified in the here and now. But the spirit…the breath…of the antichrist opposes His life from appearing. They deny that Jesus IS COME IN THE FLESH. They oppose His coming in our mortal bodies as they lead many astray with their fair speeches and good words.

(32) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
(33) I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
(34) Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
(35) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

We are to stay awake so as not to enter into temptation. We are to have love for one another. If we forget this, then we are led astray by the “grievous wolves” who come with their deceptive words to lead us astray down the broad way to our destruction.

Luke 22:40-48 KJV
(40) And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
(41) And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
(42) Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
(43) And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Great drops of blood have fallen down to the ground.

(44) And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
(45) And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

Let us rise up from our “sleep” and pray.

(46) And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

He has never ceased to speak to us as a MULTITUDE have come to betray the Son of man with a kiss. They have entered in among us. They come to take His body….our mortal bodies…with their kiss of death…with the flattering lips of deception.

(47) And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
(48) But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

But thanks be to the mercy of our God who delivers us from the unreasonable and wicked men. Paul ministered unto his own needs with his own hands. He was not a burden to others.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-18 KJV
(1) Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
(2) And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
(3) But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
(4) And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

We are delivered from them and into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ whose life shall be manifested in our mortal flesh.

(5) And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

We are COMMANDED in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to WITHDRAW ourselves from EVERY brother who walks disorderly.

(6) Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
(7) For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

Paul WORKED WITH HIS OWN HANDS TO MINISTER UNTO HIS OWN NEEDS so that Word of the Lord may have free course. Paul was a tentmaker. He did not make a living off his listeners. He was not a paid hireling preaching the Word. We are to follow his example and work with our own hands.

(8) Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
(9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
(10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
(11) For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
(12) Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
(13) But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

If any man obey not the word of this epistle, note that man and have no company with him so that he may be ashamed. Count him not as an enemy but admonish him as a brother.

(14) And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
(15) Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
(16) Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
(17) The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
(18) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The second epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.
