When will God, open Jacob’s eyes?
When will Israel, see?
When, will Heaven hear their cries?
And reveal Salvation’s tree

When will Jeshurun stand upright?
Rachel, dry her tears?
When will God end, their dark long night
That light consumes their fears

The day grows close, the time’s near
World wars are common place
Soon Christ again, will be here
To raise His bride of grace

Jealousy, will flood Jacob’s heart
Tears, will flood the land
From religion, Rachel will part
Then souls will understand

That Jesus was, and is The Christ
God’s one and only Son
The Lamb, The Father sacrificed
Life’s victory to be won

Jesus, Salvation’s longed for Well
True life’s eternal flow
Victor over death and hell
Over each and every foe

Jacob, has been life’s testing ground
Israel’s trials by fire
That righteousness be truly found
As The Lord God’s desire

Countless have lived, have sinned and died
Jacob’s stood the weather
So Israel, now multiplied
Can live with God together......
