Hello, and welcome to my first blog! This is also my first blog post, of course. Let's start with an update of what I'm working on now.
I am currently working on sewing two plush animals for two babies. They are puppies, one blue and one pink. They are made from fleece with hand-embroidered faces. I'm doing my best to make them baby-safe by using embroidery and minimal amounts of hand-sewing.
These are my first plush animals sewn by machine. I admit that I had a lot of trouble at first.
On the blue puppy, some parts took more than one try, and I had to use my seam ripper more times than I would have liked. But with some practice and advice, I think I'm starting to get it now. I'm hoping the work on the pink puppy will go more smoothly!
Where I'm at now: The blue puppy was finished yesterday and is now waiting for his sister to be sewn.
I started cutting out the pieces for the pink puppy and hope to begin sewing her together today!
I'll update when I have more done.
