Introducing a New Devotional titled Bowing Before God

It is a 40-day Christian devotional written by Joan M. Koss.

Joan Koss is an amazing woman who serves an awesome God. She is an author, speaker, and friend to many. She has launched her first Christian devotional.

In her book, “Bowing Before God”, Joan shares with us bits and pieces from her life. She explains that she’s been knocked down, scuffled a bit, but it was at the foot of the cross, that she found healing, mercy, and strength.”

If you’ve been knocked down and down trodden, Joan has a message for you. “It’s okay to cry a bit, to get angry, and to even stomp your feet and pout for a little while, but then there comes a time when you need to kneel at the foot of the cross and give it all to God.”

Her 40-day devotional is easy to read and extremely powerful. Joan holds nothing back. She shares her past pains, hurts, and hardships, but she also points out just how vital her relationship with Christ has been during those hard times.

Joan exclaims, “God never intended for us to go it alone. It is His desire that we seek Him in all things and in my darkest hours I found fellowship with Christ to be a Godsend.”

We are not alone and God is neither distant nor deaf. When we stop bargaining with God and start opening up our souls to Him, our prayers suddenly start working. We can pray for strength and receive strength. Prayer is ultimately an experience. It is a sense of being connected, of being part of something larger than ourselves.”

God’s answer to our prayers may be very different from the answer we were searching for. God’s reply might come as the strength to fight on. It may come as the courage to face what we have been fearing. God’s answer may be the ability to accept what we have been denying. Or it may appear as hope in the face of despair, and Joan reminds us that that God loves us dearly, and has a plan for our life.

This is a great book! It is available on line through a number of distributers. It is a book written straight from the heart of a woman who found peace at the foot of the cross. It’s not preachy!
It would make for a perfect gift but it’s more than that, read it for yourself, I know you are going to love it!

Google, "Bowing Before God, written by Joan M. Koss”, it is a book that has the potential to change your life.
