Too few on earth fear lying
Deceitful walking blind
God's living command denying
Life's warning to mankind
God made Adam without deceit
As He Himself reigns true
Until the devil brought defeat
Today, still plain in view
We all have lied from time to time
Countless we strong deny
Deceived, believing it no crime
Telling a bare faced lie
Remember the father of lies
Who God's set rules abhorred
Who through deceit will close man's eyes
From knowing Christ as Lord
The devil continues in hiding
Knowing his end draws near
Upon man's shoulders riding
He whispers in our ear
Treachery, betrayal , pretence,
Deception, day and night
Heaven demands man's recompense
However lily white
But how can we Heaven appease?
Afraid one day to die
The bible says, on our knees
Seeking God's face on high
To repent of all evil done
Whole hearted when we pray
Through The Christ, Jesus His Son
To seek and walk God's Way.....
