In Christ I See

The devil is a lying cheat
He’d steal the Fathers’ love
He’d rob the world of all belief
That Christ is Lord above

But since I’ve heard the Father’s voice
I’ve heard my Saviour’s call
In truth I’ve made God’s Son my choice
And trust Him not to fall

For all my life was full of sin
My faith was Satan’s lies
But now God’s Flame that burns within
Has severed all my ties

Through Jesus’ blood I’m pure and clean
The truth has set me free
Whet yet the world remains unseen
These eyes through grace can see

I see my shame has taken wing
God’s promise turn me round
When precious souls in praises sing
En route to higher ground

I see the road to Heavens door
I see eternal peace
How Satan lost in me the war
How life will never cease

I’ve sought the truth God’s perfect will
I’ve drunk Salvation’s wine
On Jesus’ flesh I’ll eat until
His secrets all are mine

I’ll walk in faith the road of light
Since doubt I’ve cast aside
My aim’s a robe of purest white
And life as Jesus’ bride.
