Imagine Being Dead

Can you imagine being dead?
At least give it some thought
Allow it flow around your head
And share your true report

Was first your mind choked up with fear?
Seeing the pit of hell
But then you saw you still were here
Yet much alive and well

Your primal thoughts we need to see
We need to spend more time
Then in a while you will agree
You’re guilty of some crime

Just spare my friend a moment more
Give thought about your past
Is Jesus knocking at your door?
Before life’s dye is cast

Be serious for just a while
Its not a game we play
We have no time to stand and smile
So near to judgement day

Perhaps you think its all a lie
The grave is like a bed
That nothing happens when we’re die
That when we’re dead, we’re dead!

But death my friend is just a door
A door we all must share
Beyond we’ve life forever more
The question is but where?

Best think again before you speak
Hell’s gate’s both wide and tall
But come with this poor Jesus’ freak
And choose the door that’s small
