Idolatry Is Evil

I think some people do not understand what idolatry is. I am supposed to love The Lord my God with all my heart, and with all my mind, and with all my soul and with all my strength. Throughout most of my life I have not done that. Recently I have not done that. My sins have been forgiven because I believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus said that nobody is good but God. When I think of what idolatry is I think of a person who worships created things. They participate in some activity or use some object to do things that do not glorify God. I do not believe that God is glorified by watching football. There are some people who would say that they are a Christian who will not talk about beliefs about the end times. If you try to talk to those people about the end times they might say that they think you sound like you are worried about the end times. I am very joyful that the rapture is going to happen soon. Do some research on the signs that we were given. I live in a world where all some people seem to want to think about is football, cars, dancing, cooking, or some other activity or created thing. We are supposed to love God. I cannot talk to a car and have a real conversation. A car cannot love me. We are to work with our hands. We should go places, eat meals with others and do things together which glorify God. Some people believe a lie. There is a lie that some people tell. They wrongly say that as long as someone is not spending most or all of their time doing something that does not glorify God that there is no sin being committed. Study the Scriptures. It is evil to worship a golden calf for any amount of time. It is evil to worship a golden calf for one second and it is evil to worship a golden calf for one hour. I have committed the sin of idolatry recently. I am not good. Believe in Jesus Christ today. He loves you. God created you. Know that if you believe in Jesus you can be in heaven with Him some day. Think about excellent things. Read The Bible for yourself so that you can know why evil things happen. The time that a person spends on this earth before dying is temporary.
