When I began a new thread giving information about how people can apply for English teaching jobs in Korea, I was simply trying to be helpful...but someone reported me and my thread was deleted.
14 years ago, I was a university graduate who had no direction in life.
My dad pressured me (practically forced me) to apply for admission to an evangelical seminary. Because my pastor wrote me an unfavorable recommendation, I was accepted as a part-time student at the seminary.
I went to Korea and began teaching English in the public elementary schools and public middle schools. Relocating to Korea was a turning point in my life. Before I moved to Korea, I was a shy, mostly soft-spoken person...and I had absolutely no teaching experience....
Teaching English in Korea for 9 years helped me develop more self-confidence.
I returned to the United States 4 years ago. I regret my decision to return to the United States. Returning to the United States...and returning to Dad's house was a huge mistake on my part....
