If the theme of my blog is suffering, it's because suffering is a great part of my life.
I, somehow, believe, that my DH (dear husband) and I have been called to suffer.
We suffer greatly, however, this doesn't mean that we suffer more than some other people or that we are seeking pity. Some other people suffer even more greatly than we do.
In the 16 years that we've been married, except for the first three months of our marriage, we've only known trial after trial.
I thank God for these trials - even though I've been angry a few times with Him because of them
- because they have allowed DH and I to grow in Him and to learn many things. Were it not for trials, I personally wouldn't have learned so many things and my heart would not have been enlarged. I'd rather have compassion and suffer than not have compassion (or so little) and not suffer.
