I have never worried about my children’s inability to learn in school, due to hunger.
I have never gone to bed with gnawing hunger
I have never put my children to bed hungry.
I have never gone without food so my children could have a bit more.
I have never considered stealing because I was hungry.
I have never worried that my children would steal because they were hungry.
I have never asked my children to work to help the family buy food..
I have never been envious of those who have more food than me.
I have never asked my children to go without 3 meals a day.
I have never relied on School lunch for my child’s only meal of the day.
I have never known hunger.
