cry for you my brother lost
I cry because I care
Because for you Christ paid the cost
Eternal life to share

I cry because of love so great
Of joy and peace so sound
Because I hope before too late
God’s Truth in you’ll be found

The Truth we need for hearts to change
The Truth to save the soul
The Truth our lives to rearrange
And make us free and whole

I cry because of Light divine
I cry because I’m thrilled
Because Salvation’s truly mine
And Jesus’ love’s fulfilled

Fulfilled because I’m saved by grace
For joining God’s elite
I cry before my Father’s face
Beside my Saviour’s feet

I cry because that Truth is near
Yet hearts abound with crime
I cry because Christ’s cloud I fear
May come at any time

I cry for all the failing sheep
For those in Satan’s hand
I cry because of those asleep
Who’ve failed to understand

Before I climb God’s Holy Mount
