I came up with something random just now

And I felt I should post it here to see how it sounds.

I'm exuasted from fighting and my heart is in sorrow,
the war we fight seems emtpy and hollow.
Our cries fall on deaf ears,
as well kneel in tears...
Praying for innocent bloodshed that's swallowed.
