I Am The Way

The Way to God is long unveiled
When on the cross His Lamb was nailed
But countless lost believe it odd
That just one Way will lead to God

The Way is Christ, there is no other
No bread no wine no virgin mother
No word no deed no holy cow
No counting beads nor sacred vow

No silver gold, idol of wood
The only Way is paved with blood
The Way of Truth The Way of love
Personified in Christ above

Regardless what the world may say
To find the Truth there’s just one-Way
Through faith, let God through Fire refine
Believe Christ Jesus God divine

They seek it here they seek it there
Eternal life’s but reached through prayer
The living Truth’s in God’s right hand
Alone through faith we’ll understand

Yet most persist to go astray
It’s hard for self to find The Way
Still blind to Christ we fail and fall
But not the few who heed His call

Best not be fooled by Satan’s plan
Life’s Way is free to every man
He’s here and now for all to find
But darkness keeps the foolish blind

The Light has come to set us free
Each yielding heart, The Truth will see
Eternal life is here today
And Christ remains The Only Way…
