Although the devil will deceive
Though eyes are made to see
Yet through each age not few believe
They’ve found to life the tree
Can strength defeat the devil’s clan?
Can vigour keep from hell?
Can knowledge help to save a man?
Has wisdom life to sell?
Can we pay redemption’s price?
Obtain salvation’s gown?
Or can it mean by being nice?
We’ll purchase Heaven’s crown?
The bibles says we cannot pay
However hard we try
We cannot buy a single day?
And in the end we’ll die
Who can flee God’s vengeful sword?
Who can flee His wrath
Alone who see His Son as Lord
And walk His chosen path
Obedience is to life the key
Faith is the fruit of grace
God’s wondrous Truth will set us free
And see through love His face
Obey the Father, Christ His Son
Obey The Flame within
Through faith is every battle won
And love will conquer sin
Love God, yourself and all you see
Love till the day you die
Such love will set completely free
