How does one love The risen King?
Embrace what none can see
Commit to Him life’s song we sing
Amongst this world’s debris
How can we touch The living Lord?
Court Jesus Christ on high
Surely no kiss one would afford
The Father’s love could buy
Obedience touches the heart God?
Could move the hands of love
Although the world may think quite odd
What thrills Heaven above
Though spiritual blind wonder why
Lost souls may think it strange
How truthful worship churches cry
Man’s sinful path can change
Our daily worship, heartfelt praise
Shedding selfless tears
Can stir, move The Ancient Of Days
To rid one’s worldly fears
Can touch a soul, can melt a heart
Bring sight unto the blind
Can make demonic creatures part
And heal a troubled mind
But one thing all should understand
Upon life’s Way above
Obedience is the Lord’s command
The Way to show true love
Love your neighbour, begrudge no foe
Give free of Heaven’s share
Consult your God where’re you go
