(How to Get) Answered Prayers
1. Decide what it is you want from God and go after it.
- What you desire from God, must be in alignment with His Word. His Word is His will for your life. Whatsoever you ask according to His will (His Word), that He will do.
2. Read scriptures that promise the answers that you need.
3. Ask God for the things that you want.
3. Ask God for the things that you want.
- Ask, Seek, Knock
* You cannot pray beyond your faith!
- The Bible says faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
- So you need to read your Bible and not just read it, but study it - study the Word of God
- Mark 11:24 - believe you already received
- There are 2 kinds of truth:
- sense-knowledge truth = what your senses tell you - what you see/hear/feel in the natural about your circumstances
- revelational truth = this is what you get only from the Word of God - this is what feeds your faith
- revelational truth says 'even though the doctor report says I have cancer, God's Word says I'm healed so I'm healed in Jesus' name.'
- in a case like that, whose report will you believe? The report of the Lord or the evil doctor report? If you don't know what the Word says, then you'll believe the doctor's report, which is nothing but death for you
- We walk by faith and not by sight
- when sense-knowledge truth goes against the Word, then you go by revelational truth
- sense-knowlege truth = fact (sight)
- revelation truth = Word of God (faith)
- your natural mind can't grasp revelation truth, so that's when your spirit man rises up and says:
- We walk by faith and not by sight
- God is true and every man a liar (Rom. 3:4)
- His Word is truth. God is NOT a man, that He should lie.
- Prayer based on legal grounds should be addressed to the Father in Jesus' NAME
- you pray to the Father, NOT to Jesus
- So it is the prayer of faith that God hears.
- faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God
- Use not vain repetitions = don't repeat yourself over and over, instead start thanking Him for the manifestation of it
* The devil will always test your faith no matter what, but when you believe God you can stand firm even in the test.
* Mark 11:25-26 - you have to FORGIVE when you pray (it's not an option!)
* Mark 11:25-26 - you have to FORGIVE when you pray (it's not an option!)
- prayer will not work with an unforgiving, revengeful, hateful, bitter heart.
* James 4:7 - you have to resist the devil when you're believing God for answered prayers
God bless you!
