In the midst of an uncomfortable situation, have you ever cried out, “I can’t take anymore!”? Then once the situation was finally over, the way in which the Lord brought you through suddenly became a distant memory, resulting in you crying out those same exact words when faced with another obstacle.
Progress in our Christian walk is imperative. The Lord never gives us more than we can endure and His purpose for our lives is perfect. Therefore, instead of focusing on the discomfort, we must seek His purposeful will for allowing the situation(s) to occur. In doing so, our tribulations suddenly turn into testimonies. Each time, you share what you thought you couldn’t endure your testimony not only becomes a blessing to others for the Lord’s glory but, also continues to increase your faith, that with the Lord, you can endure what you never thought you could.
Scriptures to meditate on:
Jeremiah 1:5
Psalm 139 (all)
I Corinthians 10:13
II Corinthians 4:8-10
Philippians 4:12-13
I Timothy 4:15-16
II Peter 1:2-11
