What can a living God appease?
How do we quench His Fire?
How can our human efforts please?
What is His key desire?
No effort for God will go amiss
All prayer will reach above
With pure thought His face we kiss
But His heart’s moved with love
For love is what life’s all about
Its what on earth we seek
It frees from fear it frees from doubt
And strengthens when we’re weak
Through obedience love is shown
Be it God be it man
Through its practice love well grown
Fulfils The Father’s plan
Love can provide The Saviours queen
With strength she needs to fight
And when we serve it can be seen
Within the realm of Light
Washing one another’s feet
Our lives in Christ excel
For through such trials when made complete
Our love can save from hell
Love is so simple to provide
It longing to be free
When here on earth we fail to hide
We’ll see the victory
True love we’ll find is Heaven’s key
It opens wide The Door
And from our God its ours for free
