What can our living God appease?
How do we quench hell’s Fire?
How can our human efforts please?
What is His key desire?
No effort for God will go amiss
All prayer will reach above
With pure thought His face we kiss
His arm is moved with love
For love is what life’s all about
Love’s what we daily seek
It frees from fear makes free from doubt
And strengthens souls once weak
Through true obedience love is shown
Be it God’s be it man’s
Through its practice; love well sown
We’ll reap as Heaven plans
Love will provide for Jesus’ queen
The strength she needs to fight
Through service love is plainly seen
Within the realm of Light
Washing one another’s feet
Its love we see excel
For through such trials when made complete
True love will save from hell
Love is so simple to provide
Its longing to be free
Sharing on earth what others hide
We’ll see the victory
True love we’ll find is Heaven’s Key
