Only nine weeks left and he’ll be here! It’s getting closer and closer, but the time seems to be creeping by slower and slower. This week, I spent hours and hours on the baby room. I was up until 3:00 a.m. painting animals on the walls. My girlfriends helped me start the project weeks ago, but I put a lot more time into it than I’d expected. It’s looking really cute! I’ve got a big happy elephant, a mommy and baby giraffe, and two frisky monkeys running down a tree limb. They all match the Zanzibar crib set we have.
I never thought a little baby could consume so much of my thoughts, but I find myself constantly thinking about him and praying for him. I am praying that he will be healthy and have a strong immune system against disease and illness. I’m also praying he will have inner peace and calmness.
