25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you i a new heart, and i a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, i and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.

From this I get the impression that God knows who and what I am. He also knows that i can not obey all of his laws all of the time so he has a solution....a new heart, and a new spirit. I no longer need worry if I am doing the right thing or what others think as long as I place my complete faith in God and let the spirit lead me. I can let my past go because this gracious and loving God has cleansed me. I no longer need to hide from his glory or feel unworthy of his grace. Works is a byproduct of faith. Much like the old saying ... Where there is smoke there is fire.
