It's the first time I'm blogging here - and I'm going to be blogging quite regularly in hopes of receiving some critical feedback for my upcoming book, Holy Sin. I'm almost finished the book (at about 60,000 words) and it's quite theological in nature. The book will be free once it's released.
Holy Sin is a book for the losers, the washouts, and the weary. It’s for those who have tried to be holy and righteous and good but have fallen short, again and again. It’s for those who can’t measure up. It’s a book about a promise:
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.”
– Jesus (Matthew 5:6).
This blog is essentially a collection of thoughts around the upcoming book. Here the many thoughts in the book are condensed in a devotional format, to make it easy for readers of all kinds to digest and ponder, given the theologically-focused nature of the book, and to see what people think of the general thought process. So I'd really appreciate honest, critical feedback.
I'm not an expert on holiness (who is?) but am rather a weary traveller who believes that there is hope and love and peace and a good God who comes to truly deal with our sin in us, a saviour who saves us to the uttermost. (Hebrews 5:7.)
