I'd like to hike this trail this year. I have never hiked it before. It is a 12 mile hike across a high ridge in the beautiful Glacier National Park. It is considered strenuous though you don't gain much elevation. I'm terrified of heights so this beginning part is tough for me:
I kind of want to hike it alone. I have kids who 'could' go with me but I know I will want to go slower than they. And I will also want to meditate along the way. However, it is generally unsafe to hike alone in such an extreme place.
If I go, I'll post my own pics.
