Here Am I

Like Samuel had done before
Hearing Your voice on high
I too lay wide my spirit’s door
And answered “Here am I”

I came my God You touched my soul
You purged my sinful heart
Through Jesus’ blood making me whole
You gave a brand new start

O Lord dear God Your servant’s here
Respectful humble and still
Silent waiting in reverent fear
To hear and do Your will

Here I am at Your command
Delighted to be free
Exalted in my Saviour’s hand
For all the world to see

I’m safe and sound with Heaven’s Breath
With life long guarantee
Yes even unto certain death
I’m here on bended knee

I’m here within the strength You give
The wondrous love You share
Willing to serve help others live
Through Jesus everywhere

I’m here through Christ to give my all
I’m here through Jesus’ blood
I’m here to stand though others fall
Living The way I should

I’m here prepared to walk and run
Where ere my God would send
To lift the name of Christ your Son
Until my very end
