  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Her Future Stands

Upon The Wind her future stands
Ordained through God’s desire
A jewel within His mighty hands
Purified by Fire

So many years she lived apart
Such bitter tears she dried
So much has moved her broken heart
This side of life’s divide

She wandered long, steadfast and true
Watching her children’s plight
Yet now with journeys end in view
She sees her God’s delight

Rejoice; when Jacob’s eyes can see
When Rachel truly hears
When by God’s grace Jerusalem’s free
Shedding but joyful tears

When people dance on every street
When jubilant songs are heard
Spring will quicken her children’s feet
According to God’s Word

Though for a while He stood aside
Though many thought He’d gone
God’s Holy Ghost ever as Guide
Would glorify His Son

Though bitter waters had to flow
Though pain she had to bear
With eyes with heart with love aglow
Her God was always there

Soon laying down her bloody sword
Repenting every wrong
Blessed is our King our awesome Lord
Will be Jerusalem’s song
