With water here, raindrops there
Dry deserts, yet are seen
Drought can reign most everywhere
Lest God will intervene
Yet few in the world this can see
Ignorance will endure
While God remains a mystery
Truth remains obscure
The Lord blesses and He curses
Crams larders, gives rich wares
Breaks world banks, fills bags, purses
Revealing how He cares
Each heart God knows, each foul intent
Power of love's delight
Each sinful soul, who will repent
Trusting in Heaven's might
One thinks this, believes another
Seeking worldly wealth
Disowns parents , sister, brother
Neglecting spiritual health
Church bread and wine's a righteous sign
Works are man called to do
Faith's obedience in Christ divine
Leads oft to birth anew
Steadfast walking in Jesus hand
Living as Christians should
Closer one nears The Promised Land
As grace ordained we would
Though Heaven, would love to please us
Would see us wear life's crown
But it's how we treat Lord Jesus
We'll finish up or down.....
