Heavenly Father, “Whom have I in Heaven but You?”* That was easily answered: You.
And Father, whom have You on earth but those who believe in, hope for and trust in You? This, also easily answered, by those who “have ears” to hear your call and respond in kind.
We have You, You have us. We are infinitely different than You, yet in our having, we possess, this being the ultimate form of intimacy. Thus, in our reverential familiarity with You (within this knowing that takes an eternity to comprehend but an instant to fellowship in), we gratefully proclaim You, Father, to be Heaven itself, the Spirit of the risen Messiah testifying that this is so.
