Throughout the world great people fall
No kingdom’s seen to cope
God doesn’t seem to care at all
Or give to man much hope
Where is the church of yesterday?
Why is there so much war?
Could it be God has gone away?
Or closed to man His door
Why does He choose from man to hide?
Why are we on our own?
Could it be God Himself has died?

Accusers stand in throng
The devil always walked with man
Teaching his evil song
But Satan sees the doors of hell
His followers understand
That God’s alive and all is well
For those within His hand
So now they seek for man’s defeat
For man’s complete demise
They’re here to kill to lie and cheat
And blind unwary eyes
The tongue they seek to capture first
For mighty is the word
Through which man’s blessed through which he’s cursed
Through which the truth is heard
The truth which seals their pending fate
The truth that burns inside
The truth that opens Heavens gate
