I think the seller isn't able to find a new house so the deal might be dead 
I'm very sad I really liked this place, and I truly despise looking at houses. But I faced the reality and sent the broker a top 10 list of the houses I'm ready to look at... asking her to find out which ones are empty to look at them first

They whine and moan about taxes, and then they are happy to grab back from the feds more than their citizens ever contribute. Alaska is near the top of that list...
