The Bible as we know it is nothing but a compilation of biographies, letters, history and teachings... manuscripts especially of the New Testament that the people in the first century lived through and were a part of, and were aware of them as having been written as individual uncompiled documents. They knew the stories and partook in them, but more importantly they lived the Gospel of the Kingdom within them before it got derailed by those wishing to build their own kingdom in earth disguised within the name Christianity. Think of the AD Bible as one of those old K-tel record compilations of various hits. The Bible itself is unimportant. Its what's inside it that counts.
Within lies the truth of God, not as we are told within the doctrines of man which are created to simply say do not question this or question us. The power of this world along with those who seek a part of it for themselves, live in the way of power and expect the masses to follow. Foolishly, most do without ever questioning why they follow their oppressors. They ignore the Kingdom, the true power which lies outside the world of man but is within those of allegiance to it. They prefer to side with the folks who accepted the power in this world that Jesus chose to ignore. But as Jesus said, love the people who are your enemy, but reject the enemy of God, that power built upon self interest within this world.
