Gods Guarantee Within

We all in life have fallen short
We fail to understand
We doubt Salvation’s true report
And flee The Promised Land

We walk by choice hell’s wayward path
We break our Father’s rules
Condemned to reap eternal wrath
We live the life of fools

To keep us free of life’s debris
Convince us of our shame
God gives through Christ life’s Guarantee
His Holy Ghost & Flame

Inside at times we’ll burn so much
Through Fire The Lord has sent
So shameful things we’ll fear to touch
And so from such repent

God’s Guarantee we see is true!
We know because we feel
We know in Christ when born anew
God gives to us His Seal

So those who seek tomorrows dawn
Need only faith and trust
Need ask through Christ to be reborn
And crush their past to dust

God makes a way The Truth to see
When Christ our lives we give
Giving to us His Guarantee
Through whom we’ll surely live

We’ll live through faith and not by sight
We’ll live through God’s true Son
We’ll live through Jesus’ Guiding Light
