We went to vistit our Pastor Yesterday, and we were talking about relationships and problem we have all had in relationships. He explained that the church is the Bride and God is the Groom. And when we sin its like committing spiritual adultery against God. I told the Pastor when I get upset with Richie my finance I take of my ring and give it back to him and the Pastor told me, God never took off his ring when you sinned against him. I started thinking about all the sins I've committed (past to present) and i realizes the Pastor was so right. God never gave up on me, he never took his ring off and said he was done with me. God loves me and you so much he gave his only begotten son to die for us so that we might live for Him (John 3:16--for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.). He promises us that he will never leave us nor forsake us( Deuter 31:6-- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Dueter 31:8-- And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.) and that when we put him first He will take care of everything else(Matt 6:33-- But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you). When you turn from God He is still there trying to get your attention but all these other things(sin) are blocking you from seeing clearly and when you do finally deside you want Him, its like the ememy steps his game up and attacts you like he never has before, and that when we get weary in well doing but God is so great that He is still there reaching for you while you are in between him and sin. And when you are dead set on God He'll come in and defeats the emeny before your face (Deuter 28:7 The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways), God then picks you up dusts you off, grabs a hold of you, and covers you in the mighty blood of Jesus. I Know it is hard to be like here you go God take care of this situation for me, when we are so used to taking care of things our selfves. The thing is when I try and do things myself they never turn out the way I need or want then to. When I do give it to God it goes perfectly because He know my wants and needs before I know them. I love my heavenly Father, He is the only one who will never disappoint me, He may not alway give me what I think I want but He always gives me what He know I need.
