1 Timothy 4:13
"Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching."
Basically for me this is a reminder that I, not being a church type person, still need to hear the teachings of what others have to say about bits of the bible.
It is true that you can be a Christian without going to church, but what kind of a Christian will that make you? Sure you can uphold the principles of Christianity but then again ask yourself: Will I be able to advance in my relationship with Jesus and God?
I know I want to become closer to god but to do that I will actually have to act on it by going to a holy gathering place of the lord and conversing, communicating and loving with other Christians.
I'm not saying you have to come to church one day and preach emotionally for hours. I don't want to talk at the moment although I aspire to in the future.
I'm just saying go to church as much as you can. God can make anything happen.
