In giving of self there’s nothing new
God gave to us His Son
Give as The Lord has given you
Till life through grace is won
Give in wealth in poverty too
With heart flowing with love
See yourself what giving can do
Through Jesus Christ above
Give to the weak climbing God’s hill
Even the strong can fail
Yet blessings come with Heaven’s will
To free lost souls from jail
Give the needy who disbelieve
Through righteous lessons taught
Give to the poor, not to receive
But through The Lord’s report
Give it in truth because you care
Because your heart is right
Give to God’s children everywhere
To Heaven’s great delight
Give of your substance looking above
Think of the dead below
Giving, sharing, revealing love
Till Heaven’s blessings flow
Give another, count not the cost
Allow The Lord to lead
Give to the blind the deaf the lost
And plant life’s living Seed
Give to the left give to the right
Giving with both hands free
Meeting needs when no one’s in sight
