The world that was, has changed her name
Diseased, she’s bound to die
Wallowing in her filthy shame
A stench to God on high
A putrid mass of flesh and bone
A demon haunted ruin
Within her breast a heart of stone
Beats loud the devil’s tune
Still ignorant of Jesus Christ
The Truth she sought to kill
Still blind to why God sacrificed
His Lamb on Calvary hill
Ignorant of His second birth
Denying death and grave
Rejecting Him who came to earth
Man’s shameful soul to save
Though king and priest, though Christ joint hair
Though separated bride
She’s on the road to nowhere!
If Satan is her guide
She needs to know the truth of hell
Get wise to Satan’s snares
Lend ear to all that Christ would tell
And see He truly cares
There’s none too lost He cannot reach
No sin He can’t forgive
There’s none so dumb He cannot teach
Nor show the way to live
Obedience turns away the sword
Humility serves love
True patience brings it’s own reward
When judgement ends above…
