Get Wise And Live

We’ve drank our Saviour’s promised Dew
His cross we’ve understood
He’s called to join His chosen few
And serve the common good

We’ve seen God’s grace with open eyes
Witnessed Salvation’s dawn
Through Jesus now we’ve grown too wise
To play the devil’s pawn

Too long we’ve danced the dance of fools
We’ve sang the devil’s lie
Too long we’ve been satanic tools
To God’s disgust on high

But wisdom’s opened wide her door
We’ve felt her warm embrace
To Satan’s tune we’ll dance no more
Now truth is face to face

Our foolishness was Satan’s strength
Our ignorance his ploy
His evil bounded any length
To steal our peace and joy

But now the world must see The Light
Must hear Salvation’s voice
Must through The Truth receive her sight
And make God’s Son her choice

Until she’ll eat the victor’s feast
And drink life’s endless flow
She must be rid of Satan’s yeast
Within her waxing dough

She must receive God’s Fire now!
Give up her wayward shame
To God alone her knee should bow
In Jesus’ holy name…
