LOS ANGELES, July 23 CM - Zachary Levi was "destroyed" by the last season of Game of Thrones Box Set 3.
The star of TV series Chuck is a huge fan of the epic HBO series, based on George R R Martin's series of fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire.
Many of the show's followers were reeling about the penultimate episode that aired last month, in which many high-profile characters were murdered.
Levi admitted he was "messed up" for days after he finished watching season three.
"Well, I'm a giant Game of Thrones fan - the last couple episodes of that show just destroyed my spirits," he told Entertainment Tonight while at Comic-Con at the weekend.
The star was attending the popular culture convention in Dan Diego to promote his new movie, Thor: The Dark World where he appears alongside Australian star Chris Hemsworth.
He said being a part of the project was a dream come true.
"I grew up a big comic book fan. There's a certain amount of bucket list things in my life as an actor - one of those things being a comic book movie - and I get to cheque that off and I got to work with incredibly talented people ..," he said.
The fantasy film was shot in London and is due for release in Australia in October.
