It fluttered in the breeze one day
From garbage on the street
“TO ENDLESS LIFE”, Please walk this way
Come sit at Jesus feet
Turning the paper in my hand
I read the other side
That God would lead to understand
Why Jesus came and died
Of course at first I had to smile
The bible’s just a book
But after thinking for a while
I thought I’d take a look
The tract had said, begin at John
Allow God’s Spirit flow
But reading of God’s Lamb God’s Son
I couldn’t let it go
I saw The Lamb I watched Him bleed
I saw The King divine
I saw in Christ Salvation’s Seed
And saw that life was mine
It’s mine; because my life was turned
Repenting all my shame
I felt the love I’d always yearned
And knew His awesome name
’Twas just a scrap of paper there
As countless times before
But now I saw God everywhere
Where nothing was before
I’m saved I’m free so blessed I’ll stay
Through Christ my Lord & friend
I’ll walk with Him life’s narrow Way
