I feel it, all the world aflame
in spiritual battle, our own sin the blame. ^
Father, forgive them—those who would torment,
for they know not better, so Golgotha-bent.
Yet, we on whom your anointing rests
rise above the rage, resurrection-blessed. ^^
Oh, how your Spirit compensates;
despite this conflict, your Church hopes with grace.
