Backsliding is to Satan’s joy
Rebellion’s wage for sin
Who recognise the devil’s ploy
May step aside to win
There is a race that must be won
A war that must be fought
But who’ll reject The Fathers Son?
Who’ll doubt His true report?
You’re fooling no one else but you
No matter how you frown
Your soul’s not blind to what you do
And God is no man’s clown
To blame; there’ll be but you alone

No house can come to stand
So why pretend and act this way

Repent and turn to Christ your face
Give up your reckless fight

Accept Salvation’s kiss
