Fill The Gap

Feeling a hole down deep inside?
An emptiness, within?
From God and self you wish to hide
It seems you cannot win

You’ve seen The Truth you’ve heard the call
You know you need to share
Though still your neighbours fail and fall
Your deeds are less than rare

Bring someone hope to sing life’s song
To dance the dance of love
Repent of that in life done wrong
And seek God’s will above

We need to shine that others see
The glory of our King
To serve and help make others free
The praise of Christ to sing

They know not love they know not Christ
They know no God on high
They’ve heard their Lord was sacrificed
But not the reason why

Till all God’s sheep have bent their knee
Till safely in The Fold
As one! We need in Christ agree
The Truth must all be told

Nothing does Christ command us do
But love with all our might
To love The Father, neighbours too
And walk within the light

Let’s seek God’s guidance night and day
Let’s seek new oil to burn
Let’s trim our lamps for Christ today
That all the world may learn
