2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
I wouldn't say that Mr Camping is a minion of the devil, but he has surely become that of a false apostle.
Mark 13:22
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
For false Christians and Prophets may arise, and they will show facts and wonders, to blind you and become to the good side of you. Take heed to this message, as you have been warned.
Proverbs 6:19
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Proverbs 12:17
17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
Proverbs 14:5
5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
True, is it that false prophets deceit. Correct, to say that they lie. We have had many false prophets in the past, yet with the internet and access to global communication everyone knows about. Everyone talks about it. Panic then spreads.
Be careful to what you belive.
Matthew 17:15
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
