When Truth has touched a life misplaced
Convicting one of sin
When peace on earth one’s soul has graced
Salvation’s dawned within
Setting God’s love ablaze inside
With faith life’s facts to learn
True hope to be the faithful bride
Of Christ who’ll soon return
Faith is the hope of facts unseen
Of promises divine
Hopeful one day as Jesus’ queen
To drink as Heaven’s Wine
What hope has faith God’s placed in man?
What hope can such faith bring?
Could it be not the devil’s plan?
To grieve life’s Lord and King
The Word of God explains quite plain
The past reveals so clear
Through self demise; is true life’s gain
When God we learn to fear
We need to seek for higher things
To walk in love and light
To seek the truth Christ Jesus sings
On pages black on white
Knowledge will come with wisdom’s dawn
At Christ The Master’s feet
Drink His blood until reborn
Through spiritual food we eat
By faith alone these things are done
Through faith we understand
Through trust and faith, life’s truly won
