Enduring To The End

As we see things getting more problematic in the world around us we have to stop to ask ourselves these questions-----

“where is my prayer life?’

“What relationship do I have with the Lord and how much do I spend in His Word?”

“How solid is my Faith?”

“Where is my heart right now?”

“Would I even die for my faith in Christ?”

I am reminded so much of the very recent happenings to George Floyd--in what appears to be murder. How protests are showing up in cities all over the nation right now. I happen to be white, but I can partially understand how it feels to be a black man in a city of where race relations are a problem, just as I understand how it must feel to be Hispanic where the current focus used to be on illegal immigration and towards those of Hispanic origins. I can even understand how American Muslims are treated with suspicion and even hatred at times.

Matthew 24:12-13
12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 (But he who endures to the end shall be saved. This is happening right now and many of us Believers will try to ignore the real and very present “love growing cold” aspect of it. We can say “it doesn’t affect us, so why should we care?”

The race relations are heightening here in America right now and many chose to turn a blind eye to the problems. We unconsciously are being lulled to accept that ever-changing “new normals” brought on by the extreme elements in our society that promote this White Nationalist ideology.

We have to guard our hearts at all times and now sit back and let the love of Christ be diminished.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
