A Gospel song, written after reading these Scripture passages this morning...
2 Timothy 2:10 “ I endure everything for the sake of God’s chosen” (The Voice)
2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (NKJV)
I endure all things for the chosen of God,
That I might gladly serve in-place,
All by grace, encouraged just to be a part
Of His Body’s Kingdom-way.
Enduring all things, yes, enduring all things:
Christ’s yoke is easy, burden light.
Jesus is risen, from on high He rules our hearts,
The prize of Glory in our sight.
Diligent to show that I am approved
By the Lord’s own saving Blood,
Testimonies follow on this pilgrim path,
Signs of what the Lord has done.
Enduring all things, yes, enduring all things:
