Elder shall serve the younger

I had always questioned as to why Rebekah would go to such extremes to deceive her husband Isaac and use her youngest son Jacob to help her with the deception (Genesis 27:1-27). In my thinking it was just wrong what she did to Isaac the man of God. Until one day when I was at work. I don't remember the month but I believe the year was 2010. I was doing my work on my laptop and then all of the sudden the Holy Spirit opened my spiritual understanding as to why Rebekah went to such to extremes. The Holy Spirit said that the Lord had spoken to her in prayer that the elder (Esau) would serve the younger (Jacob) (Genesis 25:21-23) so when she heard that Isaac was going to bless Esau she had to spring into action quickly because she knew that was not God’s plan for her children or the people Israel.
