've been notoriously bad about recording my journal is any way shape or form. Seems ironic consider how much need I have to track my steps AND how many tools are available these days.
That said, lets start here
Been trying to wake up early to seek the Lord before the rest of my world gets up. Like the Psalmist said, "Oh God, You are my God, Early will I seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for You in a dry & thirsty land " (Ps63v1).
Easier said than done sometimes when you've had a late night, or you are just plain tired. That nice warm bad is hard to get out from... our Lord was right "The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" Mk 14v38).
Even doing this entry (6:45am) my kids spotted me outside writing this, studying the scripture.
